Doubt and uncertainty are a terrible thing and I can't help at all but cancer has a 1 and 3 chance of effecting me so I have been researching what I would do if I got cancer and to be prepaired just incase I cross paths with it.

Radical Remission is absolutely one of the best alternative/integrative books for anyone looking not only for practical actions (see her "9 common steps" taken by recovering patients, for instance), but also for sheer encouragement on what others have achieved. Can't recommend it enough.
