You can go to Lab Door and compare multivitamins as another redditor posted, but I will say that after trying several brands, this one has been pretty rad in terms of value & quality. IMO
From a pill supplement form, there are really only a few "vitamins" that I would suggest. This is a quick list:

If you eat plenty of macro-nutrient dense whole foods, you should not have to take any more pills than this.

I take raindbow light men's because it's cheap. Smells like alfalfa, too, which has to count for something.
this is [my Multi] (http://www.amazon.com/Rainbow-Light-Mens-Multi-150-Count/dp/B0007YCC7S/ref=sr_1_3?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1372879491&sr=1-3&keywords=rainbow+light). i think some of them are pretty good, despite what you hear alot in this sub. of course none are "complete," point in fact i take an additional magnesium.
I got these and never looked back. 5 month supply, $24.50. #4 on labdoor. Only need to take 1 per day as well.
I recommend a quality brand, and one that isn't a horse pill. Like this one http://www.amazon.com/Rainbow-Light-Mens-Multivitamin-Count/dp/B0007YCC7S?ie=UTF8&keywords=rainbow%20vitamin&qid=1462886795&ref_=sr_1_1_a_it&sr=8-1
I really like these RainbowLight Men's One. They are food based, have added men's health stuff/probiotics, and are pretty cheap.
I think the memory improvement is from other stuff I am taking at night before I go to bed. The modafinil is strictly a caffeine replacement for me, which also helps me avoid sugar, in the energy drinks.
AM
These next two are for muscle health, taken in the morning with 32 ounces of water

If anyone could suggest changes or something I might add, I am welcome to suggestions. I mostly made this list for myself so I can see what I am taking each day.
Same exact situation here. It started when I started taking this multivitamin (still do): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007YCC7S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
I use these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007YCC7S/
You might be able to find them cheaper elsewhere. Looking at my Amazon history, I've gone through 10 bottles, and most were about $16.
For better absorption, I split them in half and take them 12 hours apart. An alternative would be using a multi that's already divided into 2 or 3 pills per day instead of just 1.
The most popular multivitamin on the market is this one. You don't need 500% daily value of Vitamin A or whatever Optimen does.
i like these but like most multis it's lacking in magnesium and more vitD and Zinc wouldn't hurt either
