Heres a mouse with 12 button on it. This would allow you to bind a majority of the keys that your left hand uses to be controlable via just your right thumb.

One thing that may help is a mouse with a number pad on the side. I've had a Razer Naga for years and it's really opened up my accessibility options, since I also have intermittent mobility issues.

u/Miruta · 6 pointsr/ffxiv

You can consider buying a mouse with a lot of buttons on the side like these:

http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Naga-MMO-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00E8CF268

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ

I use the Razor Naga and it's useful for hitting the far away buttons.

Edit: It takes a while to get used to pressing the buttons but once you get used to it you'll never want to go back.

u/Vicious007 · 4 pointsr/swtor

I recommend getting a Razor Orbweaver and Naga mouse. It's a bit of an investment, and it takes some time to get used to, but once you do you'll never go back to using a regular keyboard and mouse.

With these I never need to move my fingers far from the WASD key area. In fact, both my arms rest comfortably on the arms of my chair.

Razer's Naga is a great mouse. I usually use a deathadder because it works better for counter strike, but the Naga is great for ESO. It has a numerical pad 1-12 on the thumb, and changeable grips on the right side to suit your grip style. Synapse, the program used to set macros and. change the dpi, is easy to use. All around, I give it an 8/10, becuase it is just a bit too small for my hand, but it works very well for others.

Honestly, if you had a Razor Naga or similar type mouse, you could probably play just about any champion with relatively little trouble (with some practice).

u/SomeonePrivate · 3 pointsr/gamingsuggestions

Depends what you're looking for. Do you WANT something that is insanely good/expensive because you don't have a budget or do you want something simple and easily replaced?

G502 is recommendable if you don't care for price.

Razer Naga is good if you're into MMO's and need lots of easy access buttons. A bit clunky feeling though, but it's worth it.

Elekcity is the one I use and I recommend it for its simplicity. Also it feels really nice to grip.

u/MJuniorDC9 · 3 pointsr/pcmasterrace

About G2A, please, check this and this report about G2A Shield.

For $100, you can get this MK or this. I don't have much experiences on mouses though, but maybe, check here.

u/BetaXP · 2 pointsr/leagueoflegends

I'd personally recommend getting a Razer Naga Hex mouse or a Razer Naga MMO Gaming mouse. They have a lot of buttons on the side, and you could easily map one of them to attack move, along with many other things.

I linked you the direct products on Razer, but if you're interested in buying one I'd definitely recommend buying them on Amazon, linked here and here as you can get them at a lower price than what Razer typically offers, along with much better shipping offers if you have Amazon Prime.

u/xzenith · 2 pointsr/runescape

I personally have been using the Razer Naga for over a year and it is great for Runescape and many other games. I hardly ever use my abilities with the keyboard, I just use the 12 buttons on the mouse for all the keybinds.

If you have been considering it, I would highly recommend.
Here it is for just over $60 USD at the time of posting http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Naga-MMO-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00E8CF268/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420422048&sr=8-1&keywords=razer+naga

u/Glum_Reaper · 2 pointsr/leagueoflegends

In a game go to settings -> controls -> movement -> click "Attack Move -> click the mouse button you want it bound to.

Make sure you keep right click as movement and left click as target. This means you'll need to bind it to a third button. In general, gaming mice do have these and are pretty affordable. I prefer having Attack Move on a pointer finger click like this mouse offers, but hardcore MMO addicts have an easy enough time with on a thumb button like one of these disgusting things.

Here is why you should do it

u/PwnDailY · 2 pointsr/dayz

You'll probably need a mouse that has a key board on it if those exist.

Gamepads are the closest thing.

Edit: My heart goes out to you buddy, if I had the funds, I'd totally invent a mouse keypad thing.

Edit 2: This might work as an alternative. Use your thumb to move, gonna have to get a lefty version though I suppose...

Razer Naga 2014 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E8CF268/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Probably one of the best mice I've ever owned. The keys on the side are mechanical and responsive and map to your number keys by default, or you can set them to macros through the software for your favorite MOBAs or MMOs, if you decide to use them.

It also goes up to 8200 DPI, which is great for me because I actually have four 23" monitors to span horizontally and vertically (large screen space). And, I only keep it at 7000 DPI.

The back/forward buttons are on the top of the mouse below the scroll wheel. For aesthetics, it glows green, if you care. I have smaller hands and find the mouse comfortable to use for hours without any problems. I've owned it for about 6 months, and it's taken a beating, so it's quality made.

Anyways, hope this helps.

It's up to you if you want to upgrade, however 970s should be able to handle either 1440p or 144hz perfectly fine.

That's fine if you want a larger screen.

AFAIK the only real options there are the G600 and Razer Naga (and a few other cheap Chinese mice, but we generally don't recommend those).

>ever hate when you can physically feel the pain of the money shooting out of your wallet?

You're going to have to ask /u/Mad_Economist about that one :). I'm not much of a spender myself.

If you want to, you can get a slightly different CPU cooler from Amazon to get it sooner, but the monitor thing is almost exclusive to Ebay.

u/Fortunate34 · 1 pointr/ffxiv

If you're on PS3/4, it's somewhat difficult to heal with a controller, as the more you level up, the more skills you acquire. However, this isn't saying that you'll be a bad healer, just that it's not as easy as being on PC. If you're on PC, and you have some extra cash, a Razer Naga mouse is amazing. Currently, it's on sale. I use this for ALL of my skills now. It's changed my MMO game. Intead of Hotbar "1" through "=" on your keyboard as skills, they're all on your mouse, available to press without reaching too far, giving you more control to move and whatnot.

u/mc_nibbles · 1 pointr/buildapc

Depends on what you need in a mouse.

If you're looking for a regular gaming mouse with decent DPI, you can go super cheap and get decent DPI compaired to a regular mouse, but not any super build quality. You can Go a small step up with a budget name brand mouse, which will have slightly better build quality. Then you can jump up to a Decent gaming mouse which has high DPI and good build quality, or this one as an alternative.

If you are an MMO gamer and want side buttons, there aren't many budget options, but the Razer Nagga MMOG 2014 Or the Logitech G600.

I have peronsally used all levels of gaming mice, and still use a super cheap wireless gaming mouse with my laptop, and I use an original Razer Naga MMOG on my desktop. I like them both, though I don't expect my cheap wireless one to last long, it still performs extremely well for the price.

Keep in mind these are just suggestions, Other people might like/disklike these mice for there own personal reasons. I peronally like the ergonomics of the Razer mice over any other.

u/MaximumOverexposure · 1 pointr/gaming

I was looking for a right handed Razer Nostromo, to no success. But you may be able to dig deeper. The closest thing I saw was a Razer mouse with 12 hotkeys.

u/Raptorsatan · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Have you considered a Razer Naga

Strictly for the utility at your thumb and ability to keybind, as well as the additional 8600DPI that is also adjustable via the switches behind the scroll wheel.

u/ceol_ · 1 pointr/macgaming

I use the Razer Naga 2014. The mechanical side buttons feel really nice to use. Razer's "Synapse" software works decently well with Mac, as you can bind any button to a multitude of functions. The only issue I've run into is that the OS-level mouse tracking seems to reset to 0 on reboot. Not a huge issue. I would definitely purchase this mouse again if mine were to ever go up (had it for about 11 months now with no issues.)

The Logitech G600 has decent reviews, although I didn't go with it because a) the side buttons are squishy, and b) the software only works in Windows, so if you want to rebind keys to something else, you're out of luck.

A cheaper option is the Redragon Perdition, which is a newer "MMO mouse." I couldn't verify, but I don't believe this one has any Mac software either. However, the buttons are still just numeric keys, so if you don't need anything crazy, it should be fine. You can also store the button profiles on the device, so if you have a Windows install, you can apply it there then use it in OS X.

There's also the UtechSmart Venus. Not bad reviews; fairly new; cheap. Like the two previous mice, I don't believe it has any Mac software, but the extra buttons will still function.

u/xDreamzZx · 1 pointr/buildapc

Deathadder, not many buttons though.

Rival, not many buttons either, slightly cheaper.

Naga, not the Epic version though, but got lots of buttons.

M65, slightly over budget though, but more buttons than Deathadder and Rival, fewer than Naga.

Just some of the awesome mice (yes, mice, not mouses :D) out there :)

Spend a couple extra and get this... I love it.

You could try the G602, it has 11 programmable buttons and a ton of battery life, I use it.

If you really need a lot of buttons you could try an MMO mouse (ex: G600, Razer Naga), or just search for any MMO mouse wherever you want to buy.

2 words: Razer Naga. After I got mine I can't imagine how I played for so long without one, they are amazing!!! I def recommend them!!! http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Naga-2014-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00E8CF268/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413919168&sr=8-1&keywords=razer+naga

Personal selection has always been Merc Stealth keyboard: http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Merc-Stealth-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00292OW1U
(no longer made so the ones laying around are VERY expensive)

And...

Razor Naga mouse.

http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Naga-Ergonomic-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00E8CF268

Pros: Both have exceptional key mapping options(more buttons=good) The Merc stealth WILL change the way you play overnight. I am unable to use a normal keyboard after using a Merc stealth for nearly 10 years.

Cons: Both are low quality and tend to burn out after about a year.

Just an Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UH_UCACyDE - review of Merc Stealth in 2010 will show its MSRP for $100. I not sells 2nd had for nearly $300. If you can find one cheap buy it!

u/calculaterror · 1 pointr/leagueoflegends

Best thing I can say is a good mouse. Hopefully its your off arm (non-dominant) and something like the Razer Naga (the mouse I use) can be programmed to use the number keys as qwer moves and have a lot more variety of inputs from just one hand.

Hopefully it's not broken and it's a quick recovery!

u/BigisDickus · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

What are you using now?

Search for ergonomic mice. They have them in stick form or more upright forms. Whether you'll find a 'gaming' one I'm not sure but here's a decent rundown. But any mouse can game. Just look for a decent one. Maybe this? Wired, adjustable DPI, etc. I also used a Razer Naga 2014 for a while and it had a thick palm section and felt really good in hand. Aside from a mouse-pad with a good wrist rest that's about all I can recommend.

u/Wolfie_Ecstasy · 1 pointr/survivetheculling

I suggest he gets a footboard like this for his movement as well as a mouse like this for every other action you would do on a keyboard.

People who break their hand or only have one hand usually run this setup. Personally that's what I would do, I don't think I can go x amount of months without video games if I'm being honest.

if you're interested in trades i've got:

Naga MMO -
https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Ergonomic-Gaming-Mouse-RZ01-01040100-R3U1/dp/B00E8CF268

and a R.A.T 9 MMO
https://www.amazon.com/Mad-Catz-T-9-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B009PHSDBM

would consider either as trade straight up for the New in Box one. both retail for more than what you're asking, they are used but working like new.- just went back to my Sidewinder mouse.

send a PM if interested.

u/SirUrza · 1 pointr/swtor

Depends on you and your hardware.

You might wish to change movement from WASD to ESDF. The reason being you'll have more room to the right and left of your movement keys to bind abilities. QW and RT for abilities is much nicer then just Q and E... assuming of course you got rid of keyboard turning for your camera, which I hope you did. Moving to ESDF also makes more numbers reachable, 123456 are all within a reasonable reach.

If you have mouse software, you could for SWTOR rebind any of the mouse buttons 3-5 to shift, alt, or crtl. This would allow you to SHIFT-Q for example without contorting your hand or taking your hand off movement keys. It would also very easily allow you to use your movement keys whether they WASD or ESDF as shift, alt, or ctrl keys. Shift-W is a whole lot easier to hit when the thumb on your mouse can be shift. :)

Of course if you have a mouse with a ton of buttons like the Razer Naga you'll want to bind those as numpad buttons so that you have 1-6 on your keyboard as different keys then 1-6 on your mouse.

As for what to assign what abilities and layout of the ui, there isn't any right way to do it. You want to see target of target, you want to see focus target. You want debuffs to be larger then buffs, especially large on the raid frame so you can cleanse them. Highlighting your own effects as well as cleansable debuffs will help you know what's what as well.

u/RunzWithGunz · 1 pointr/gaming

Not sure about the compatibility with Photoshop, but the side tilting scroll wheel can be useful and can be found on the Razer Mamba http://www.amazon.com/dp/B013LDTYI6?psc=1 (I own the cheaper wired version) and the Logitech G502 http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Spectrum-Tunable-910-004615/dp/B019OB663A/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1463148136&sr=1-2&keywords=logitech+g502. Both mice have on-the-fly adjustable DPI settings and fully-adjustable RBG lighting.

If bindings are your thing, which could prove quite useful for RTS and Photoshop, the Razer Naga also wouldn't be a bad choice, as was already suggested. http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Naga-Ergonomic-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00E8CF268/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1463148559&sr=1-1&keywords=razer+naga

u/GoodAndy · 1 pointr/WildStar

I highly suggest a Razer Naga or a Logitech G600. They are worth the money in my honest opinion.

Yes, WildStar doesn't have many skills, but combat requires you to be highly mobile. I bind my main attacks to 5 on my Razer Naga because that's right in the middle of where my thumb sits anyways.

Show this gift some love

I am horrible and I couldn't decide so I am not playing by the rules too well 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I know I will never see the 4th one from here, nor would I ever expect anyone to spend that kind of money, I just can't bring myself to spend that much money right now. As for the rest of them they're all things I really want, but I am horrible at buying things for myself lol. I was able to get one this morning and instead I opted to buy my fiance Justice League Dark Vol. 1....I fail at spending money on myself lol

u/insipidgoose · 1 pointr/gaming

Does he have an MMO mouse like a Razer Naga?

u/Teerlys · 1 pointr/paragon

I use a Razer Naga. Runs about $70 and makes gaming ridiculously easier.

u/SurteaD · 1 pointr/wow

There is. I could never understand how people could use their mouse in their left hand, even though I myself am left handed.

u/Overrwatcher · 0 pointsr/wow

Get one of those thumb grid mice, like the Razer Naga (which i use) or the Logitech G600. Ignore the anti-Razer hate train, most of their products aren't that great, but their mice are always top-notch.

Got one? Good, it is so much easier using those than binding your whole keyboard. If you haven't already, use Dominos or Bartender. Where and how you place the bars is entirely up to you, and what you feel comfortable with.

For reference, this is how my keybindings look.

Now, the keybind fun starts. Put your main spells, preferably damage ones if you're dps or heal ones if you're a healer, from 1 to =, but you don't have to go that far (i go from 1-0). Bind everything else 1-= using Shift, Alt, and Ctrl modifiers, the way you do it is up to you. I personally use 1-0 for damage and mobility, shift modifier for utility, and alt modifier for self-defense or situational spells. The closer to 1 you put your ability, the more you remember it. You can also use extra non-number keybindings if you like, including Q, E, F, G, whatever floats your boat.

Oh, and remember that not everything needs to have a keybind.

Good luck!
