I've got a '15 and I was about to get one of these aftermarket pedal/spacers but I've kind of learned to contort my ankle enough to accomplish the job. My 2006 Impreza was much easier to heel-toe on :-/

It doesn’t directly fix the flex but i think it helps and it’s cheap and easy to install. I really like it.

The height is adjustable with spacers
right now I think it's raised about an inch and about twice as wide at the bottom as stock
