It's ghetto rigged with 5" wooden floor siding nailed into studs in the wall. I measured how long the boards would need to be to hold five records for the top two rows, and two records for the bottom row pieces, then got Home Depot to cut the boards to length.

I purchased one of these recently to use as a now playing display. Inexpensive, and very easy to install and use.
They remind me of this, which I have and love. Only bigger and much, much cheaper. Needless to say, I backed the guy.
