I've read Rudel's book. Fuck him.
I respect his achievements during WW2 but nothing else about the man. It kind of makes you not get drawn into his story.

This is 10x more interesting IMO. No propaganda. No political sympathizing or wanking about "how great and awesome this guy is!!1!"
Gritty book and a hell of an interesting story. Truthfully one of the best WW2 books I've read and I've read dozens.
