Something like this. That particular trap works very well with yellow jackets if that's what you're dealing with, but I can't attest for anything else. You want something that has a carrion-scented bait (meat) because bees will not be attracted to that but it will make wasps go ape shit. Can do some home-made ones I'm sure if you google it.

My husband and I got ours at Lowe's. Amazon has them for the exact same price. It's called the Rescue Resusable W.H.Y. Trap for Wasps, Hornets, & Yellow Jackets.

My husband was excited when ours caught 10. I need to show him this one.

238 total including that big fucker.

Thoughts on disposal? I was thinking of just dumping them in my outdoor firepit and cremating the fuckers.

In case anyone is wondering I used these traps. I'm actually pretty shocked at the bad reviews on Amazon, I picked mine up at Lowes but they're definitely the same brand. Maybe people can't follow instructions.

You should probably pick up one of these whatchamacallits: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001H1GRPI

I had a major problem in the last few years of paper wasps and yellowjackets swarming my catawba tree (bushlike tree, big-ass leaves produce lots of shade) Put one of these bitches: http://www.amazon.com/Rescue-WHYTR-BB8-Hornets-Yellow-Jackets/dp/B001H1GRPI in the tree and easily killed 20-30 of them. When you get it pick up about 3 sets of refills, or they sell them at Lowes for 10 bucks a piece. Make sure you put it someplace outside the nest, around where they seem to hang out.
