I do it this way since my displays are not in the front seat and the wifey can see and quickly play movies, tv episodes without having to see the screen.

It's small and light enough to keep in a pocket, uses a rechargeable and replaceable standard cell phone battery, has every QWERTY key, and you can touch type without taking off your headset with very little practice. The only negative in my opinion is that it uses a USB adapter for wireless communication instead of bluetooth; so you'll have to sacrifice a USB slot. I use a splitter to use this and my normal keyboard and mouse on one port to render this negative moot.
