The Moto 360 works fine, I have one too. Haven't had any issues or problems.
Nova Launcher should work just fine with your settings, I don't use since I'm ok with the LG launcher.
I've dropped it once with a TPU case on (This one here) onto concrete from about 3 feet. No cracks or dinks.
To my knowledge most warranties are one year for phones, so LG wouldn't be any different. I have it on T-Mobile so I pay for the protection.
The charger says Fast Charge but I'm not sure about it supporting Qualcomm Quick charge. I would assume but I have really good battery life so quick charge isn't that important to me when a case was on.
I don't use the finger print scanner since I have my Moto 360 with me like 80% of the time, I use smart lock. The time I don't it works fine about 70% of the time. Just register you finger twice. Also if you put a case on delete the old finger scans and redo them. This fixed the issue of the scanner not work for me.
As for the DAC, I'm a bit of a audiophile. The phones DAC and AMP are almost on par with my basic $350 set up. My only issue is the volume varies form app to app. In some its loud and in other its too low. There is also no built in equalizer for apps like Spotify, Google music, or Tidal and all the third party app one are complete shit to be honest. The phone seems to have no issue running my DT 770 Pros which are 250 ohm. The phone claims it can run headphones up to 600 ohms but I don't have any pair of cans that are that high anymore. I recommend you check out this post on XDA Developers form for more info about the apps that work with the DAC as well as how to enable the DAC in any app.
So far I really love this phone, storage isn't a problem, screen is nice and balanced, camera is crazy good for a cell phone, battery is average for a phone of its size, second screen is actually useful, and performance is on pair with most phones out there. Plus for a flagship phone that has a removable battery and expandable storage is almost unheard of now a day, it's a rarity now.
I don't have any waterproof cases but I have four cases in total:
I hope that helps. I don't use any screen protectors.
I have this. It's simple and sleek but I'm replacing it soon with this. I used to have the Spigen Glass Screen Protector but it literally chipped after just a few hours of use. Went with their plastic ones.
Oooh, the Ringke case looks really nice. A lot of the reviews say the fingerprint scanner becomes useless with it though. Do you have any pics of your phone with this case on? What do you think of the seemingly popular OBLIQ case? Which glass protector would you recommend for the phone? Theres so many brand I don't knoow whos legit anymore!
Quick charging seems good to me, with 30 minutes of charging charging like 45%, similar to the Note 5's claim of charging up to 50% in about 30 minutes. But off is good, charging 90% in 30 mins. How long do you think you'll use this phone/how long would it last?
Also, is the speaker really as bad as everyone says? Can you game well with this puppy?
