So op is what card it better? https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-mc128d-128gb-Uhs-i-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1484512720&sr=8-3&keywords=Samsung+EVO+Plus .

For $5 more you can get the EVO Select which reads at 80MB/s vs the 48MB/s on the EVO Standard
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Select-Memory-MB-ME128DA-AM/dp/B01DOB6YW4/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486874653&sr=1-3&keywords=128+gb+micro+sd+card
Of course, for $5 more than that ($45 total - $10 more than the Wallmart one) you can get the EVO Plus. It reads at the same 80MB/s, but it's shock proof, so if you will be taking your card in and out a lot because you are switching cards, it might be worth it.

I'm going with the EVO Select personally
EDIT: sorry, I typed "write" speed not "read speed" - corrected
EDIT 2: I now have the correct read speed and actual benefits for the plus listed.

This is the best value MicroSD Card in terms of memory and read/write speed.
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Select-Memory-MB-MF128DA-AM/dp/B01DOB6YUQ
This is a VERY fast MicroSD card you can find (128GB), but is more expensive.
256 GB, in my opinion, is way too expensive right now. Prices should be better by the end of the year.
>That memory card alone is $200
It's actually $160 right now, and has been as low as $130 recently. The 128GB version is under $50.
$99 was an absolute steal, but I wouldn't write off the card as a standalone purchase.
I did a bit of research on this. The two main competitors for the low profile USB 3.0 usb sticks are the Lexar S45:
https://www.amazon.com/Lexar-JumpDrive-128GB-Flash-Drive/dp/B012PKV7RC
And the SanDisk Ultra Fit:
https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-SDCZ43-128G-GAM46-Newest-Version/dp/B01BGTG2A0/
They are similar in price (around 30 dollars). I went with the Lexar because it seemed to be slightly faster in head to head benchmarks and the profile of it is flat. The primary downside when I got it is that it has a VERY bright blue LED that flashes with activity. However, I simply put some electrical tape over it and it almost entirely blocks it.
For SDCards, it seems the fastest performers are the Samsung EVO Plus:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-mc128d-128gb-Uhs-i-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/
It has the fastest read speed at 80 MB/sec, which is still quite a bit slower than the USB which I usually benchmark at around 150 MB/Sec max, and the internal memory is faster than both, and much better read speed (so prioritize putting games etc that have longer loading times or require writing in the internal memory).

If you don't plan on buying EVERYTHING digitally, this will do you just fine for a long time.
well it's only 32gbs which is pretty low, It's a U-1 or a C-10 both basically the same thing speed wise. the fastest on the market atm is a U3. It's most likely a Re brand as well, so no real idea what company makes it.
I personally went with [this] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0118LR9Z8/) card thanks to an awesome guide I found on this subreddit by /u/chepi888
actually no if you look the 200GB is $80 but yet 128GB is $149 normally? hell no the prices are just wrong $38 isn't a big deal on 128GB....here is an example http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-128GB-Adapter-MB-MC128DA-AM/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1464413101&sr=1-1&keywords=evo+%2B+128GB
I got the same card but the 128 GB version at Amazon. Works fine.
That will NOT fit your phone. You still need a microsd card. Sdxc is simply a classification. This is an example of the right card.
Not sure, but don't see why not. Though if you're thinking of getting a higher capacity one, then Amazon is much cheaper, especially when on sale.
128GB ones are about 50 USD incl. shipping normally.
Samsung Evo Plus 128GB
SanDisk Ultra 128GB
PNY Elite 128GB
For a 200GB one, currently 75 USD incl. shipping :
SanDisk Ultra 200GB
FWIW, I bought a 32GB Samsung Evo+ a week or so ago from The Warehouse for $15 ($20 atm) - it's $22 "on sale" at PB.
Boop
80mb/s read, 20mb/s write.
There is also the EVO Select series (green rather than red) which is 90 read and 80 write. But I couldn't find one for the US price (~$45 usd) with shipping to Canada.
I use a Samsung evo plus 128gb SD card in my S8
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_m0l6Ab1KRGRQY
Maybe this one?
https://smile.amazon.com/Samsung-mc128d-128gb-Uhs-i-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483043105&sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+evo+micro+sd+128gb
These are highly recommended.
They are $53.00 brand new from Amazon, so the $34.99 price isn't too far off for a used card. I personally spend the extra money and buy it from Amazon, though.
If you have Prime: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-mc128d-128gb-Uhs-i-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8
Yea just the normal evo lines, its should be an red/orange colour with a evo + symbol.
https://www.amazon.ca/Samsung-MB-MC128DA-AM-MicroSXCD-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1487245486&sr=8-3&keywords=samsung+evo
Something like this is more then enough. 80MB read speed plenty fast.
Idk if you are going completly digital but i would have to say sd cards are going to get cheaper with bigger storage.
Think switch can handle 1 tb or 2 tb sd card im not sure but def at least 1tb it said so.
If you are going full digital i would say but the cheap 64 or 128gb now and once prices come down buy the big 512 or 1tb cards
> Okay, so putting Android OS on it will just make it more efficient/better at multitasking things?
Yes, sort of.
Getting the Amazon cluster of Apps out of the way, and letting pure Android OS take over is your fastest path to efficiency.
But, in fairness to the overlords @ Amazon, they don't generally suck at those kinds of projects.
With only 8GB of internal storage be sure and add a MicroSD card like one of these:
SanDisk Extreme Plus
Samsung EVO Plus
What’s the difference between this one and the one linked in the title? I know nothing of SD cards but this one is a lot more for the same number of gigs:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_bAUbAbXCVWZTT
128 is cheap and easily found
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-mc128d-128gb-Uhs-i-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1484529399&sr=8-5&keywords=samsung+evo%2B
I'm happy with a 128 GB card that I have been using. Never ran a benchmark on it http://amzn.com/B0118LR9Z8 but if the phone still runs fast that's all I need to know. A benchmark is just going to make me stress out that it isn't the fastest.

Formated real usable space: 119gb
This one also works

I use Samsung Micro SD on mine and it run fine without major issue. Here is the one I got.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0118LR9Z8/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1487934385&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=samsung+micro+sd+card
They're other Samsung Micro SD which is more faster than this but for most common thing, this work fine without any issue.
Possibly a 256gb one is too expensive right now, with the speed expenses needed for playing - at least 60Mb/s, better if 90. I shall recommend you this EVO one (usually the price, but I did see it even under $50).
However, if you can find a 256 good one with price under 70, tell me please.
This is the link https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B0118LR9Z8/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1473134409&sr=8-2&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=samsung+micro+sd+card&dpPl=1&dpID=51amnjRPnTL&ref=plSrch
You can do better than that:
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0118LR9Z8
No one had mentioned micro SD cards yet so I'll throw this out: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_rz1UzbGCXJY0D
This is the one I got since it's supposed to have better load times for digital games than other SD cards.
I picked up two 8bitdo controllers and have been extremely satisfied with them. They've also announced two new controllers that will have motion control and vibration.
It's definitely Class 10. Here's the Amazon link that I got it from:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_7UbHZGVvzhOjL
I suppose since Motorola isn't recommending it there's no point. But I'd just like to know whether or not any Z2 Force owners are getting the Internal Storage option at all. I just want to know that my device isn't acting up.
Preparing for the release of the Note 8. I like to watch a lot of tv/movies and was looking into the 128GB/256GB micro. The Note 5 was a pain with only 32GB and I never want to deal with that again.
What's the difference between the Samsing EVO^+ & EVO Plus?
I was also looking at this SanDisk Ultra 200GB. 200GB for $100 CAD sounds to good to be true..
Anyways, I'm looking for a micro sd that's reliable, has a high capacity & decent read/write speeds. Any recommendations?
I just purchased a the HERO 4 BLACK. I was wondering if this memory car is compatible and has high enough data rates for the 4k: http://www.amazon.ca/Samsung-128GB-Adapter-MB-MC128DA-AM/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1451345687&sr=1-7&keywords=128gb+sd#Ask
I have this one currently in my Note 4 that I will be switching over until I purchase the bundle.
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Micro-128GB-Memory-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1492364413&sr=8-2&keywords=samsung+128gb+micro+sd+card
Looks to be even cheaper on Amazon, if you think you can find something else for the gift card.
Is that one much better than the EVO Plus Class 10?
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-128GB-Adapter-MB-MC128DA-AM/dp/B0118LR9Z8
on a side note. your most inexpensive way to get playing third strike while learning the programming part, before making a big commitment to the cabinet parts would be to buy the raspberry pi (canakit) and hook it up to a TV until you have the software where you want it. Then you can build a cabinet around it and you know it will work.
if you want to go this route you will need
RP3 canakit
SD card you dont need one this big but it will allow you to upgrade your library forever. I bought 3 cards on the way to this one. Should have got the big one to start
and any controllers. PS4 controllers work best in my experience, although i have used ps3 as well. You can check a thrift shop or buy these sweet controllers although i have not personally tested them
Find the actual model number, and I can almost guarantee that it a fake card at that price.
I'd suggest paying a bit more for a decent card like a Samsung Evo+ and buying it from an actual store. Then you're not out the money and the performance is better.
For example: https://www.amazon.ca/Samsung-MB-MC128DA-AM-MicroSXCD-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1487780969&sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+evo+microsd
I like this 128gb Samsung Evo+
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Micro-128GB-Memory-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/
Also get a tempered glass screen protector (amFilm is good), carrying case, power bank that outputs USB-C (Type-C) + cable, Pro controller.
I bought this one but it cannot be used as internal storage. its still good as external storage though.
Here's the link from the first one that repeatedly went bad and I returned: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_12LLxbV871TV3
That is way to expensive! Get it on amazon for $45 https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-mc128d-128gb-Uhs-i-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1484426297&sr=8-3&keywords=samsung+micro+sd

I ended up going with this one
Thinking about getting this one myself https://www.amazon.ca/Samsung-MB-MC128DA-AM-MicroSXCD-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/ref=pd_bxgy_107_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=VAM59MZP4F88E56MDRTV thoughts?
