One of those wireless fast-charger stands for my phone. Makes pawing for my phone first thing in the morning way easier.

That one

I have the Belkin BOOST UP.

I like it. Works well as my bedside charger. It's a wireless fast charger that definitely works. The LED light is small and not-too bright, but you can easily position your phone to cover it, nonetheless, without worrying that your phone's not getting charged.

There's a circular traction ring that keeps the phone stable even when you're getting phone calls or other notifications.

I also have this Samsung Wireless Fast Charge Stand.

I used it at work because it's sleek and functions well since I have an iPhone X. I always charge overnight, so I haven't needed to use it too often, but it works well nonetheless.

It's not certified to fast charge Apple's iPhone devices, so you'll notice that it's definitely slower than wired charging, and it's also slower than the Belkin.

Holds onto the phone well.

Samsung makes a Convertible version.

Pretty much same information applies as what I wrote above. Samsung currently doesn't have any wireless fast chargers that are certified to fast charge Apple's devices.

I recently bought the RAVPower HyperAir Wireless Fast Charge Stand.

It's a fast charging stand that I've replaced my Samsung stand with at my desk.

Nice, sleek design. I haven't been able to run tests against the Belkin yet, but they're fairly comparable. It's definitely faster than the Samsung stand, though.

I'm thinking about buying the Apple-certified Mophie Wireless Fast Charge Pad for my living room.

I've heard good things about it.

Anker recently released an Apple-certified fast charge pad and fast charge stand.

I've only read impressions from a MacRumors contributor, but he or she was fairly impressed.

There are plenty of chargers that are cheaper, but I'm interested in quality and wireless fast charging.

And I'm only going to trust the Apple-certified brands for wireless fast charging.

UPDATE: I bought the Mophie Charge Stream Pad+, which allows charging up to 10W. The iPhone X and XS devices will still only charge at 7.5W, but the XS devices will charge more efficiently, so they should be faster.

I would spring for the 10W version because it'll be helpful for friends with Android devices. Also, it makes it a little more future proof should apple allow the XS phones to charge at 10W with a future software update or allow next year's iPhone devices to charge at that wattage.

> I think I paid quite a bit of money for it though

I hope not! They're $29 on Amazon :D

The new 2018 Model is pretty nice too might have to order one. Looks fancier.

Alright, everyone keeps telling you to be careful, which I guess you already know, i'm going to give you the benefit of a doubt and say that maybe you cracked it once by accident, it happens, and the second time was because your phone screen was already weak from being replaced... I'll say it's no fault except bad luck. Shit happens.

My recommendation is just bite the bullet on spending a little more than you want to for phone protection, it will save so you much money in the long run. Screens are $200 - $300 dollars to replace, when you can just spend $75 now and protect it. So here's what i think will help.

  • Get a case
  • The one that is most reccomended after me spending DAYS going through threads and looking for solid cases is the Spigen Neo Hybrid ($13.99). Slim case with actual protection.

  • Get a screen protector
  • Also through my research is that the TG (Tempered Glass) protectors are all awful except for the Whitestone Dome ($44.99). Is a hard pill to swallow but it's the only glass that fits well, no reduction in sensitivity, and has full screen adhesive to keep from having those ugly rings around the edge of your screen or having those black bars. I reccommend this because you seem to crack your phone, rather than scratch it, this may save your screen a ton.

  • If you reeeallyy don't want to swallow the $50 then most people just go with a wet applied film to just help from scratches and possibly a minor crack. Most people settle for the IQ Shield LIQuid Skin ($7.85). It's just a skin but it may save you in the end.

  • Get a stand
  • It will keep your phone more secure on your desk rather than having to deal with knocking it off when reaching for your glasses. Any cheap stand can work. I went with the Econstyle Stand ($7.99) because it's easy to move from my side table by my bed, to my desk by my compute. Just some extra security and ca keep your phone from getting any scratches from laying it face first on a hard surface.

  • If you want to get a little luxury you could always get Samsungs Fast Charging Wireless Charger ($39.99) which has a stand included so you just set your phone down and it's charging, but that's just extra luxuries and isn't necessary.

So you could spend a bit for some extra security that will save you time in the long run, or you can keep risking dropping your phone and breaking it. I bit the bullet and got the case, TG and stand and I haven't looked back. I actually dropped my phone first few days after having it, but thanks to my TG the damage was only there and it saved my screen completely.

Man, you have my condolences. The only issues I've had with my Priv was the USB port - over the 1.3years it got to the point where I'd have to plug it in and have it propped up by the cable for it to charge. I was able to get a new one despite it being out of the original warranty (which is another story i'll save until someone asks) and snagged a couple of wireless chargers - one for the car and one for my desk that i tote around and USB/headphone port covers

I haven't had any notable issues, other than the stated already, with either.

Surprisingly, I was still able to do wireless charging on my iphone 8 with the popsocket on. I have the swappable popsocket (are they all these days). It's mounted about 1cm lower than halfway horizontally, centered vertically and I can wirelessly charge using this charger: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Certified-Wireless-Universally-Compatible/dp/B01BMDQ9U8 . I did have to use some Sugru to extend the bottom lip out further because the phone kept sliding off, but it's been charging consistently on that stand for over 2 months now.

But it doesn't work on the Samsung charger that I have at work that lays flat.

u/Ipad207 · 3 pointsr/GalaxyS8

im not sure this is true apparently the only diffrence between [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Wireless-Charging-Charger-Warranty/dp/B01BMDQ9U8) one and the $90 one is that the older model wont fold in

So far I have had no problem with our two wireless chargers. On the Samsung charging Stand it works both vertically and horizontally. We also have a Ravpower. Both work no problems.

u/icemarbles · 2 pointsr/GalaxyS7

Same here. I have THIS one and have fast charge enabled. I know it has a fan, but I have never heard an audible noise coming from it while charging even at night when my room is dead quiet.

$41.90 for (1) unit on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Wireless-Charging-Charger-Warranty/dp/B01BMDQ9U8

Groupon had a 2 pack option but it seems to have been removed.

Groupon now has (1) single unit for $27.99: https://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-samsung-fast-charge-wireless-charging-stand-1

Personally I would rather buy a new unit with a warranty than a "fell out of the container used unit" that is described as "This item contains heavy signs of use which may include scratches, blemishes and dents." and no warranty.

Get the samsung fast wireless stand or pad.

Stand

Pad

They both come in black or white and will charge your phone MUCH quicker than ordinary Qi chargers.

Dont buy one off ebay. I bought 3 pads off ebay (got a refund on all of them). They all work, but the fan is very loud.

Got a stand off amazon and it is muuuch better.

I'm in Australia and it was still cheaper to buy off amazon US compared to local sellers. Plus the US version comes with a bonus fast charger and usb cable.

u/17thspartan · 1 pointr/GalaxyNote7

Not positive, but I think the wireless charging stand is on sale as well. It's 69.99 on Samsung's website, but it's 41 dollars on Amazon.

https://amzn.com/B01BMDQ9U8

Edit: It doesn't say it's specifically compatible with the Note 7, but the one on Samsung's website doesn't say it is either.

Maybe someone who own's a wireless charger can chime in and verify that this is the right model?

u/aodash · 1 pointr/LgV35

I'm using the Samsung Qi Certified Fast Charge Wireless Charging Pad + Stand - I've got a couple of them, and they seem to charge my S9+ and V35 at about the same speed. Not sure how many watts they are, but both devices claim they are 'Fast Charging' when on the charging stand.
Here is link for it on Amazon: https://amzn.com/B01BMDQ9U8

It's this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01BMDQ9U8/ref=pd_aw_lpo_107_bs_img_1/135-6149291-6100702?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=4SX0921FHD5Z418BMWGE Got it at a Dutch webstore. You just place your phone in the stand. No clicking or plugging in necessary.

u/MartianRaptor · 1 pointr/GalaxyS8

I bought it on Amazon, but I checked my order history and it was sold by Amazon.com LLC, not some third party. It's gotta be legit.

I've been using it flawlessly with no issues for like 9 months (since the release of Note 7). I do think it came with a standard charger, but I could be wrong. I do have like 3 extra fast power bricks lying around (I made sure I got something out of all those Note 7 recalls ;D).

Trying to look online for ways to tell if it's fake or not... The sticker on the bottom looks exactly like the real one and I could spot some differences between mine and the fake one. So far, I think it's legit. If you know of any other way to tell for sure whether it's fake or not, LMK.

EDIT: This is what I bought, from Amazon.com LLC

Samsung fast wireless charger and phone says it is using fast charging when I sit it on there at night. These are what I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BMDQ9U8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/jailbreakydotcom · 1 pointr/GalaxyS8

Just noticed Amazon has these as a used like new, fulfilled by amazon for about $25 a piece. https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B01BMDQ9U8/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all

u/yillbow · 1 pointr/GalaxyS8

Their is only one stand offered that offers fast wireless charging. This is it : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BMDQ9U8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/ianisalways · 1 pointr/GalaxyS6

But any qi or pma charger will work.

Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand W/ AFC Wall Charger (US Version With Warranty), Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BMDQ9U8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_x1KHzbNASYVM8

This is what I use, it's an older model with the stand. Works fine but it likes for the phone to be pretty centered to charge. Also I couldn't get it to work until I used a very short micro usb cable to plug the charger into the wall adapter, your mileage may vary. I think the new version may work easier, bu t I can't speak on that.

u/tripbin · 1 pointr/samsung

This ones only 40 and is a fast charger with stand

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Wireless-Charging-Charger-Warranty/dp/B01BMDQ9U8/ref=sr_1_9?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1492261160&sr=1-9&keywords=samsung+fast+charger

and this is the 80 dollar one. Seems to be the same but with leather unless it can charge faster than the last fast charge one.

https://www.gottabemobile.com/galaxy-s8-fast-wireless-charging-what-to-know/

u/mistical · 1 pointr/GalaxyS8

It is over with, deals on Woot normally last 24h or less or until gone.

No, that was not the same one. This is the one I received in the mail: $40 https://amazon.com/Samsung-Wireless-Charging-Charger-Warranty/dp/B01BMDQ9U8

And the refurbished version of it is $25: https://amazon.com/Samsung-Wireless-Charging-Enabled-Devices/dp/B01IRSWBIU

Honestly, I'd personally just go for the refurbished version which will be just fine, likely someone returning one that didn't like it. Plus it comes with 90-day return warranty and you're buying it from Amazon too.

I used this one for my X and now for my max. Works great, but the little blue on light get annoying!

Oldie, but OEM and it's never once let me down and it works great with the Note 9, S8+ and even my ancient S4. Also, I prefer the upright angle.

I have two wireless chargers that I like:

  • The official Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand. It's got a fan in it that cools the charger (and phone) while it's charging. I have this on my desk at work; it's convenient because I can interact with the phone easily without taking it off the charger.
  • Anker's Fast Wireless Charger. It's got a temperature sensor inside and will cut back on the power flow if it gets too warm.

I try to charge my phone through wireless charging as much as possible during the day; my last two phones died because their USB ports failed and I'd like to avoid a repeat occurrence. On the other hand, I plug my phone in at night precisely because charging heats the battery and wireless power always charges the battery. (USB power charges the battery until it's full, then stops and just runs the phone off the USB power, leaving the battery to cool down.)

Doesn't appear to be convertible so it might not work.

u/RabidTurtl · 1 pointr/gaming

To be fair, wireless charging isn't bad. I had one for my Wiimotes (till the battery packs for it stopped holding a charge) and currently use one with my Android phone. Personally wish the phone charger was a flat pad though, been a couple times it stopped charging because the phone slid just a little.

But yeah, this is quite a bit ridiculous. I actually hate the lack of a physical keyboard on phones these days, actually bought one that attaches to my phone. People are trying to make the argument that this will improve audio quality, but I don't buy that. USB headphones are garbage in sound quality, and lightning isn't that much different from USB (if anything I assume it is slightly weaker, with only 8-pins instead of USB's 30 or USB-C's 24). Wireless is no better. The only reason why I even have some bluetooth headphones is so I don't have a wire to get snagged at work. As soon as I am home, I use wired headphones.

u/idksomuch · 1 pointr/GalaxyS7

I bought mine off Amazon from "Samsung" for $46 and it does take around 3 hours to charge from 2% to 100. The fan works and it even came with a fast charging adapter so I assume it is OEM but it charges much slower than I was expecting. Maybe it's because of that huge battery? Anyways, here's the product page, if anyone can tell me if it's real or not. Thanks.
