I did the same thing. I then decided to turn it into a Windows boot drive for future reinstalls or whatever (it's something I never took the time to set up before).

There is no setting that needs to be changed, no formatting, or anything. Just put the file on the drive, make sure it's MSI.ROM and then go flash your stuff.
