Isn't this normal price for the r9 fury on amazon? It has been in declined since mid last year
Pretty awesome card though for the price.
That's almost 1/4 more than the $309 Fury Nitro for negligible gains in performance and you're still at 4GB of VRAM. At least, that's how I looked at it when I placed my order for the Nitro on Monday ;)
Shoot, you might even unlock some or all of the CUs and have yourself an air cooled FuryX!

You can also get a sapphire fury the same price here on amazon

They are sold out till the 9th you need to scroll down to the new and used option and it will pop.
Also amazon has it for $239 after rebate.
Good deal again by Newegg, Amazon has it too but 350$

Its $309 at Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-PCI-Express-Graphics-11247-03-40G/dp/B0196LWL3W
Ignoring everything else about these cards, the MSI one has a RGB side logo only where the Asus one has multiple on the fan shroud, a side logo, and on the backplate.
Also here is a better deal. $235 ($250-$15 MIR) $0 Tax if you live outside of New York (In California tax would normally add 9% which would be $22.50 calculated before MIR so this normally would cost $260ish on newegg after tax+MIR)

You could get the open boxed one at Microcenter because for me it says $207 which is a pretty great price for that card.
The strix OC is $261 ($281-$20 MIR w/ no tax).
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1273531-REG/asus_strix_rx480_o8g_gaming_rog_strix.html
Also the R9 Fury which is better than the Rx 480 is currently $240 ($330-$70-20MIR) w/prime shipping. If you don't have to worry about power usage then this may be a better card for you.

If you look at the benchmarks the Fury is definitely better than even the Asus Strix Rx 480 8gb and it may be possible to unlock the last 2/4/6/8 CUs to possibly make it a full Fury X or at least give a small free upgrade. GPU chips are a many bunches of cores and other stuff and cut down cards have some of those bunches disabled due to either defects or shortages in lower level cards. A Fury has 56 CUs where a Fury X has 64 CUs, if 63 CUs work fine and 1 is defective then they disable the 7 to make it into a Fury even though it could still use 62 CUs (they need to be in pairs).

It was the Sapphire Fury Nitro.

Doesn't seem to be available anymore though.
Vega is still a little ways away so if you want something now the Fury isn't a bad option. Amazon currently has it for $260. When Vega comes along and there is something that fills that gap you could always sell the Fury, take a small loss and call it a day.
Looks pretty solid. You can get a better card (R9 Fury) for about $15 more, with a $20 rebate.
edit: $5 less, along with $20 rebate.
the fury probably is your best bet. Sits between 1060 and 1070. Only problem is that it lacks vram.
US I am assuming? You can get a R9 Fury for $309.
You just missed This Fury X for 308$, Maybe look into a normal fury, This Fury was 256$ yesterday, maybe keep an eye on these 2 for a couple days, they might drop again.
Good luck.
Going to source from /r/buildapcsales so you can read through the discourse as well.
/r/buildapcproxy used to be a thing but is now dead, though I'm fairly certain some of its supporters still do the same thing just unofficially. YMMV.
You could also take a look through /r/hardwareswap as well, though most of that is US based. You may be able to incentivize enough (eg cover shipping) however.

You can even afford a full price windows OS.You could purchase it from /r/microsoftsoftwareswap and save some money though.
http://pcpartpicker.com/product/TwzZxr/asus-monitor-vx24ah you could even do 1440p with this card if you wanted to.Slightly reduced settings sometimes to achieve smooth 60 fps in heavy games. It is a very capable card nevertheless

You will download that PDF and follow the instructions. Usually its cutting out the bardcode once you receive the card and then filling out the paperwork and sending it in. They will mail you a check or gift card.
But read the instructions since everyone is different.

That's US$322, by the way, which is a hundred more than what you've said. Boom, example broken. And the typical 480s are some two to three thousand INR cheaper, about thirty USD. That may not seem like a lot to you, but in a country where you can get a week's worth of groceries for two dollars, it's a lot of money.
amazon is also shipping/selling these (amazon.com is the seller) for the same price, though you pay taxes...

It would beat it not sure what your looking to play but.. if you have a free sync display the Sapphire r9 fury is only $260 on amazon plus there is also a MIR but here

Fury for $259 but $20 rebate. I'd say go for the Fury then, or try to get a used Fury X for around your budget
Since you're looking to game in 4K, I think it would be prudent to upgrade the graphics card. I recommend this R9 Fury for $260. You'll have to manually change the seller to Amazon for some reason. I would recommend a 1070, but it's more expensive than the Fury, and the cards appear to perform nearly identically at 4K according to Anandtech.
[its still says 349 on amazon for me.]

Instead of a rx 480, get the r9 fury. more performance for an extra $10 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0196LWL3W/ref=s9_simh_gw_g147_i1_r?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=BNGNWFSYY4EBG3XJNBAZ&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=a6aaf593-1ba4-4f4e-bdcc-0febe090b8ed&pf_rd_i=desktop

I've been planning on upgrading my R9 280X with either a RX 480 or a R9 Fury, which should I buy?
Get this one instead: https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-PCI-Express-Graphics-11247-03-40G/dp/B0196LWL3W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1492580721&sr=8-2&keywords=r9+fury
> Also regular Fury (same card just non-watercooled version) is still available for $270
$240(+$7) actually, unless you're taxed at Newegg as well as Amazon.
These budget builds are really showing me that ya'll need to just buy a PS4 Pro... seriously. This build is exactly what the PS4 Pro was made to combat.
Non-overclock CPU.
Micro ATX 2.0 board.
8GB RAM instead of 16
No hard drive (I already had to buy a 2nd SSD and its a 500GB)
AMD Video Card that isn't the Fury

A SHIT power supply that's going to whine every time you crank something up. (http://ncixus.com/products/?sku=137597)
I suggest you buy a PS4 Pro with your budget. You will build this PC and hate it after a year, just like the people who leave the motorcycle shop with a 250 HATE IT.
FYI - I just picked up a Sapphire Nitro Fury off Amazon for $309 brand new.
https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-PCI-Express-Graphics-11247-03-40G/dp/B0196LWL3W/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1474049784&sr=1-1&keywords=sapphire+nitro+fury
She's a big girl so make sure you have the case clearance for it. I did pretty extensive research and the Fury is within single digits of the Fury X. It's a great card, it's done > 100 FPS with everything I've thrown at it on 1080p ultra AND it's currently in a x8 slot (remember what I said about the case..?).
I'd personally go for this considering your monitor:
https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-PCI-Express-Graphics-11247-03-40G/dp/B0196LWL3W/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1474512823&sr=1-1&keywords=R9+Fury
Pssst
Fury > RX 480 for performance any day of the week. No question about it. It DOES use more power, and that air cooled one is really big, so make sure it will fit in your case.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0196LWL3W/ref=psdc_284822_t1_B0196LWLHI also found this
Also this fury is cheaper
This Fury !X! is a hair more than you were looking to spend on the fury. It's got about 10% more performance than a fury.
Maybe you can order it on amazon . They say it will ship within 1-2 months and probably will honor the price
Are you dead set on a rx 480? I would get a r9 fury instead. I got the rx 480 8gb asus strix and was disappointed. I sold it for a fury x and its 4gb of vram has done fine for me so far even playing at 1440p while the performance has been so much better than the rx 480. I'm canadian so idk the prices for you but a quick look on amazon.com shows the r9 fury nitro sitting in between the 4gb rx 480 and the 8gb rx 480 in terms of pricing.
