Thanks Gioolio--you're bringing back my old chemistry knowledge. Appreciate your thorough responses. I'm trying not to be lazy and ask you things without thinking on myself...but:

I think I'm willing to go the drop route, for now. To avoid having to buy DMSO, do we think ethanol will work, or do we think it will evaporate too quickly?

I also use this "hair lotion" in my hair that makes it feel really nice (curly hair) and I was thinking I'd put in a drop or two in there since I use it once or twice a day. Below are the ingredients--do you think the sandalore will dillute well enough in there? And, just to confirm, since the bottle is 250ml, I need 1/4 of the .10518g of sandalore? Sorry I know I'm dilluting (har har) the rigor of this experiment but I'm also trying to cut costs.

Finally--the sandalore I got was from amazon: It's basically the consistency of water and doesn't really smell THAT strong compared to what a lot of people seem to be saying. I also use foam so not totally sure how I'll be applying it, think I need to add it to some sort of other fluid to dilute it. Thinking maybe a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water. I sometimes use liquid minox and put a drop in that would be easiest but it causes scalp irritation so can only use it about twice a week.
