Heh, that is pretty purple. Get this case and replace the glass. The case is AMAZING! Super low profile and predicted mine from many drops.

Be warned, I've replaced my wife's glass twice and replacement glass does not seem as durable as stock. However the second replacement is really easy to do. The first is more difficult due to glue over the entire screen.
I like the Seidio Surface because it is clean, simple, and non-silicone. I've dropped my phone a few times without any problems.
I cannot say enough good things about my Seidio Surface case.

I've not dropped my S3 yet, however I had a Seidio surface case on my Atrix which I dropped at least a dozen times during my two years with it, and the phone was alwasy fine.
The case is a tight fit, doesn't add much bulk, and who it isn't "soft" it does feel "soft" on your hand.
The case does have open holes for ports which you said you didn't like, however the case meets the rest of your needs just fine. I love it, and can't recommend Surface cases enough.
