Get one of these. It took my husband and I six years to get one. I don't know why we waited so long. They're not that hard to put in, and if your complex is managed you can probably get a maintenance person to install it for you!

Almost 6'3" here. One of the first renovations I've done in every place I've owned is raise the shower head in whatever shower I will be using. It's not really that big a deal if you can access the plumbing from the other side.

If you're renting or not that handy you can also used one of these for a quick fix.

Not OP but I've installed the same at every place I've rented in the last 5 years. They have longer ones at Home Depot/elsewhere on the net, but they're all called the same.

I recommend a shower head like this, and/or an extension like this. I have a similar setup, and it's pretty awesome. Obviously not helpful for the road, but for 95% of the rest of life it's great.

I'd go with an s curve shower arm instead. I'm 6' 2" and put one on my shower and it works perfectly, the adjustable kind can and will leak eventually.

For a glorious showering experience, try this raincan showerhead. I don't know how lived without it now.

Extremely easy to install, just don't forget the teflon tape

As a fellow 6'5, 200 pounder, may I suggest one of these? The installation is really easy and you don't have to duck down as far.
