Im an IT guy and primarily deal with storage.... There are a lot of products out there that help to reduce vibrations on consumer drives. Some of them a simple little rubber covers (these suck, they just make the drive run hot and don't do much to help). There are some screw mounts that have little rubber washers on them, this helps reduce vibrations and would be more then enough for what your talking about. Could it be a problem... maybe but I think it would be unlikely. The little rubber vibration dampeners are super cheap, if your worried about it, just pick a few up and I bet your drive will die of natural causes in 4-5 years. https://www.amazon.com/SilenX-IXA-GM4-Silenx-IXAGM4-Grommets/dp/B001I4VI4Y/ref=pd_sbs_147_5?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B001I4VI4Y&pd_rd_r=V6XBB14F34BZAJ647HAM&pd_rd_w=hnTIu&pd_rd_wg=Pl9DP&psc=1&refRID=V6XBB14F34BZAJ647HAM

My carrier MetroPCS (which doesn't have great rural coverage) and I believe other carriers such as T-Mobile offer free, unlimited streaming on certain music apps. I use Google Play Music almost incessantly and it doesn't count towards my data. Depending on where you're located and where the coverage maps are you might check out these kinds of plans.

/u/Tired8281 makes a good point as well. A simple, cheap PC with a touch screen mounted on your dash would make a great distribution system. Put the main OS on a flash drive or SSD and either mount your storage disks with shock proof bushings or suspend them with pantyhose or some form of stretchy fabric. I had a buddy who shoved his main drive (pre SSD days) in a length of hose and suspended it like a hammock in his vehicle PC case. Thing ran for ages.

I'm not entirely sure if these will fit your application, but my case came with these as part of the package. Using 3 x 1 TB WD Black 7200 rpm drives I have very little vibration, basically unnoticeable. Noise is still there, but it isn't too bad.

rubber harddrive mounts which have a small piece of runner between the harddrive and the screws.
