Ah. I see. If you're sure it's candida, then still, I personally suggest trying to address killing the overgrowth before you bring in probiotics. I've just seen them consistently cause problems with people with unhealthy guts. They can turn pathogenic quickly, and or contribute to small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. But who knows. Perhaps prescript-assist will work well for you, but I'd still be focused on killing this overgrowth. And antibiotics typically create an environment where yeast/candida can occur.

NO affiliation, but I've used this product before: https://www.amazon.com/Solaray-Yeast-Cleanse-180-capsules/dp/B00014DJZI -- it helped. But I mean.. there's so many parts to this. Trying not to feed the candida with starchy carbs, take betaine HCL with all meals (find the right dose), while taking the candida cleanse or something similar.

SUPER SORRY for trying to give you advice rather than just answer your question about probiotics. I'm just cursed with too much knowledge on this stuff! I know how annoying I might be coming off, and I can't help it.

Experience: have SIBO and candida overgrowth. Probiotics make things considerably worse, consistently. Betaine HCL, lowish carbohydrate diet (not NONE - that harms the gut long term too - but a few bananas a day, then mostly vegetables and fish/chicken), and herbal antimicrobials help the most.

I have also been advised to follow a no sugar, no starch diet. It's extremely difficult to follow. Thrush basically is candida and it's odd that no dermatologists that I have had really acknowledge it. I do remember a similar process of my scalp gradually getting irritated by every product of mine. I basically don't use any product anymore as it seems to just make me break out. The colloidal silver seems interesting, I'll definitely give it a look. Maybe try checking out anti-yeast supplements? My nutritionist suggested I take these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00014DJZI?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title
But I might switch to something else and see if I have any different or better results. I also notice pain in the skin under my scalp and I notice a direct correlation between the severity or quantity of scalp pimples and the size of the lymph nodes on my neck. Also my neck feels more sore when I have worse symptoms. Something interesting might be a fecal transplant from a healthy donor, but I have no idea how I would get that to happen. I'd imagine my doctors would think I'm full of shit if I mentioned that to them, pun not intended.
I'll keep you updated! I check often

Hello my beautiful friend :)

Although I do like to take my time in crafting my responses to posts here, I am choosing to write things down a little more quickly as I am like the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland today... late, late, for a very important date! :)

Not really but I need to attend to an assignment :)

I would like to share with you my experiences in healing my own genital issues. I am a fellow woman.

Most relevant to my journey: I visited a craniosacral practitioner recently and together we helped unblock much stuck energy in my sacral chakra. Craniosacral practitioners help conduct prana (life force energy) to where healing is needed, so that flow can be established. Healing the sacral chakra was a significant part of my first healing. Although I do not think you need to find one of these practitioners (although if this resonates, please do) I would like to suggest sacral chakra healing to you. There are foods one can eat (think orange-colored foods, sweet potatoes, orange red bell peppers, oranges, etc., google is your friend!) meditation music one can listen to (youtube is your friend!) and learning to conduct your own awareness and consciousness in a new way by exploring emotional healing, your sense of creativity, etc:

Things that I resonated with for your healing journey:

Marc has given you some very nice advice, and I particularly resonate with changing your laundry soap.

I believe you may have candida yeast over growth. What the heck is that?

Need to caution you, some icky pictures!

Does this interest you? You may take a quiz that may help point you to finding your diagnoses:

https://bodyecology.com/quiz-php/

This is a quiz you can take where you check off your symptoms, the higher the score, the higher the likelihood of yeast overgrowth. Don't feel bad or guilty if you think you have candida. We all have it, and a significant portion of the population has the overgrowth too. Our symptoms just manifest differently, and some are more sensitive than others. Sensitivity is a divine gift, so please do not feel ashamed :)

How to treat?

Yeast feeds on sugar, sugar fermentation leads to increased levels of acid in our body, which lowers our pH and makes us more susceptible to other microorganismal and physical/mental/emotional imbalances :) I think you might be interested in The pH Miracle by Dr. Robert Young:

Now, I provided a lot of information on candida stuff, but I certainly do not want to limit the possibility that you might have another, or different, root cause for the symptoms you are experiencing. If this does not resonate, you certainly do not have to try anything :) This is just my knowledge that I have gathered over many years of being interested in alternative health :)

May you find the healing that you seek :)

Blessed day, happy weekend :)
