Yep, heat shrink tubing. I got an assorted pack (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VE4ZUT2/) to use for various begleri things, like hex nut sets.
I took the largest variety from the assorted pack and they didn't quite fit, so I stretched them out by opening them up with a pair of scissors and then they wrapped around perfectly.
Happened to have this lying around from another project, and is what you see in the picture.

Works well enough for my purposes, though I had a little trouble getting the green to cooperate for some reason.
Edit: as u/Uncle_Als_locks says, any heat shrink tubing should work.
