I'm a heavy sleeper as well, and my phone alarm sometimes wakes me up, but often doesn't. Moving alarm clocks worked at first for me, but I quickly grew used to them and ignored them in my sleep. What has worked for me is an alarm clock that literally shakes my bed.
They're made by a company called Sonic Alert, and mine has an option to plug in a lamp that will flash at you as well. The bed shaking component is a vibrating thing you place under your mattress, and it works well. The sound setting can be set incredibly loud as well, but I just use the shaking option for my roommates sake. I highly recommend you look into this OP.

I use an older model with the pillow vibrator. You will wake up.
I have a similar one that adds phone sensing and will flash a light. I like waking up to a flashing light rather than a shaker.
