I don't know anything about the pelican cases except how they look like (from what I googled) - do you "sculpt" the foam inside it by yourself to hold every piece you want to store in it in place, or can you order it with custom foam-inlets?

I personally do not use a case for my ActionCams - I just transport them in a seperate compartment of my backpack where there are no metal pieces which could scratch the cases of the cameras (I only transport them inside the case).

I am not sure if they will fit your needs, but there are cases which are especially made for SACs (only splashwater-proof from what I can tell)- the case from Sony and mtb.
