I had the spigen air armor for my s8 and it was great, noticeably thinner than the tough armor. And if you want the thinnest, the thin fit is the way to go.
I have the spigen liquid air right now on mine and I am very happy with the thinness. I always try to go with the thinnest I can and I think I will stick with this one. It does have the case over the buttons but they are not hard at all to press. The case. The only thing is that before I actually had it on my phone, the sides felt a little slick but on the phone, it feels fine.
I have the Spigen Liquid Air. It feels awesome. Slim but still mil grade protection.

BUT I broke my screen in it because the sides come below the glass curves leaving them exposed to a blow straight across rather than protection from top to bottom.
So I got this Otterbox Pusuit and it is what I'm staying with. Slimmer than Defended but more protective (according to otterbox). The difference is the sides are protected.
