I second that. I got mine on amazon before I got my phone and it's exactly what I was looking for. It was around $15, thin, decent looking...

Protector: Whitestone Dome Kinda finicky to put on, but feels awesome once it's done.

Case: Never used one so can't help there. I do have a Spigen Neo Hybrid but don't actually use it. I thought I might, but I prefer the feel of the phone without it.

I prefer this one:

Much less beefy and bulky. Fits on the hand well and does not add much weight or uncomfortable feel.

I have dropped the phone twice on the corner with no damage. I have to say, I don't know how it works with a screen protector, I currently don't have one on.

Forgot to add, Wireless charging and NFC payment work fine with the case.
