Too many cases seem to compromise this phones slick and thin look. I also don't drop my phone ever knocks on wood and have never had any screen scratches on any previous Note4 or phones I've had.
This case keeps that amazing stock look, but offers nothing in protection for drops and is actually slippery in the hands. I only use it rarely.

This was the 1st case I got and I still use it almost every day. It's slim and seems to offer a good deal of protection.

And this one I'll get in the mail tomorrow. Again, keeping with the slim profile, but should offer a bit more protection than the 1st case I listed, while keeping the slim look and feel of the Note8.

Yeah it will play games really well. Even emulators that don't run so smoothly on some other phones work nice on the Note 8. For a case, I'm a huge fan of the

I've had it for the Note 7 then S7 Edge, now the Note 8.
I don't drop my phone so I can't tell you if it will keep it safe.

For me it's a simple Spigen rugged. Been using it from day one and ain't planning on changing.

Screen protector compatible, raised edges on the top and bottom.
Slightly slippery for my taste.
