It's very slim and provides basic protection, which is enough for me (it has a small lip over the screen to protect it from drops). Spigen's cases have been working really well for me and haven't had a problem with them yet. However, if you want a little more protection, this could work as well:

Love sipgen cases I have used them on my last 3 phones!

I bought 3 different sipgen cases for my S7E when they had their crazy sale. I have tried the:

• Galaxy S7 Case, Spigen® [Rugged Armor] Resilient [Black] **My friend uses this case - because he has a black phone and black case it looks very minimal in person.
  
  
• [Neo Hybrid Crystal] PREMIUM BUMPER [Gunmetal] **this one is my daily driver, has saved my phone from some chest high falls
  
  
• Spigen® [Ultra Hybrid] AIR CUSHION [Crystal Clear] **same as the above just with a clear bumper
  
  
• Spigen® [Liquid Crystal] Ultra-Thin [Crystal Clear] **ultra thin case basically stops scratches and prevents the screen from touching stuff if the phone is face down but I wouldn't trust this for a fall from any distance

I used this one for 6 or 7 months before I dropped it and it cracked the corner of the case. Saved my phone but it wouldn't stay in the case anymore. III prefer this one because it only adds 2mm of thickness (check out the description) and a ton of grip. It's made of plastic, but the texture will fool you.

After that, I had this lying around after a sale. It's just rubbery, super grippy, and still pretty minimal. Plus now I can see my dbrand skin lol. Definitely keeps my palms off the edge though.

Before this phone I didn't like cases either, so I really can't recommend any of those premium cases because they add too much thickness. Spigen is a reputable case maker too, and they have their own metal cases if you're interested. Good luck!

Why'd you choose the hard plastic over the softer?

I've never had luck with screen protectors with curved screens so I don't use them.

As far as cases go, I've found Caseology cases like this one and Spigen cases like this one don't add much bulk and keep it feeling pretty thin. Anything with a kickstand is gonna feel super thick.

I was debating between Spigen Liquid Crystal and Ultra Hybrid.
I hardly drop my phone but my daughter may, so I went for the Hybrid one, suck that I missed the sales for $4.99 for Spigen case yesterday.

Essentially I got two of them. Obviously I don't need two cases. Amazon wouldn't let me cancel one. USPS shipping tends to be about $3 in the US. So For $6 I can send you one, with tracking number. PM me.

This one is a hard plastic back with a grippy TPU side. Doesn't interfere with using the edge. The sides are still pretty grippy, the back is more protective hard plastic rather than bendable grippy like the LUVVITT. But it does show off the back better (the LUVVITT has a matte texture so it doesn't give a wet look).
