thank you for the positive words. I have been struggling with this for 20 something years now. It mostly stems from my anxiety, I found that using hockey tape can help curb/control the biting, but I know now that the root cause is all internal (psychological).

Lately Ive been trying out Yoga, it's been helping me feel calmer but because I'm in the middle of finals in University, it's been hard to stay calm and so I keep biting my nails out of nervousness without even knowing it! Sometimes Im not even sure if I can completely end it, perhaps only manage it or reduce it to a minimum, because I have "broken the habit" a few times now, but it has always come back.
