There are ammonia-less cleaners better than Windex. This is what I use. Buddy of mine who makes glass recommended it. Target should have single cans for like $2.50
CAUTION WITH WINDEX OR ANY AMMONIA BASED WINDOW CLEANER!!
If you have tinted windows the ammonia is what ruins an purples your tint. My advice NEVER ever use any cleaner like that on your car.
As others have said, don't buy cheap if you want results, but don't be oblivious do deals an alternative products either.
For example, Sprayway glass cleaner is an exact match to Invisible Glass and it's stupid cheap.
If someone could tell me how to duplicate the insanely perfectly clean glass surface produced by Sprayway Glass Cleaner, I'd be pretty happy about it. I'm a photographer, and I shoot on glass now and again. I've found nothing else that removes everything, and leaves zero haze, streaks, or dust.
Except for Sprayway. Sprayway is fucking awesome.
