These are all great suggestions. I would add: a small flashlight for using the porta-pottys at night, glow lights or a totem to find friends at night, a Chinese fan or sun parasol for daytime, SUNSCREEN.
Also, I prefer flushable wipes for the porta-porties over TP. Something like these are a life-saver!

Bring some of these and some immodium with you. Let your travel companions know that you need extra time in the morning.

Do not listen to the naysayers here telling you not to go. If you let this disease control you, it will only get worse.

These things are awesome for travel. But for home use, get a bidet!

Same. The brand I use literally depicts a wipe disintegrating I'm water for Pete's sake

Although it says this about how it degrades in water: "Stall Mates are made from HYDRASPUN Dispersible, the world’s first dispersible substrate for flushable wipes. This patented wetlaid material swiftly disperses and biodegrades in water so it’s truly flushable. It meets flushability requirements according to the INDA/EDANA flushability guidelines."

For me, wipes make public toilets less frightening.

Definitely adapters for your chargers and such. A charging block with multiple ports, if you don't already have one. A passport case. A journal to write down cool things you see! Some comfortable and durable walking shoes, and as weird as they look possibly these style running socks to go with (they really do help prevent blisters!). A luggage tag for all of your bags. Allergy meds (Claritin or Zyrtec) if you're prone to that. And these travel bathroom wipes!

My suggestion does not involve a dry tampon- ouch! But I have camped a lot needing to use the suppositories (not to mention SMEP) and wear a suit all day. Put it in early in the am, and use a pantiliner like you would with underwear with your suit. (This is my favorite trick in general, midday I swap it and still have clean-feeling undies). Ideally give yourself 3 hours or so before getting in the pool, and take the pantiliner off before you do, of course! But that's easy to do even in a waterpark bathroom, where a full change is not. Also, Cottonelle makes those flushable wipes in individual packets. That can be a very nice thing to have on the go. I was looking on Amazon, and I found these too and think they are less expensive and appear to have less unnecessary wrapping for travel packs/purse backup plans: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PRJT9RY?psc=1 When I camp, I am for less waste, so we bring the Scott wipes (http://www.amazon.com/Scott-Naturals-Flushable-Cleansing-Cloths/dp/B00J51O4FC/ref=sr_1_2?srs=7301146011&ie=UTF8&qid=1425837286&sr=8-2&keywords=Scott+Naturals+Flushable+Cleansing+Cloths) refill ziplock (note, despite what everyone says, they are not all that flushable but they do biodegrade when baby wipes do not... and Consumer Reports found Scott tested to break up the most/quickest.) We do not ruin national forest plumbing, we pack out and throw away what we use in the trash but these wipes can do something nothing else can-- get sap off the tent and mostly off cotton clothing. But it helps with feeling cleaner when away from showers for days.

There are flushable wipes. Here are some in travel packs:

@OP: lota or wipes seem equally hygienic for your bum. Comes down to preference.
