I enjoyed the audiobooks the most...
Although, I've read both the comics and the actual novels themselves. There is just something cinematic about being able to put on a pair of headphones and sit back while letting the scenes play out in your imagination. Marc Thompson does a amazing job narrating and the added sound effects and music highten the experience.
I highly, highly recommend The Thrawn Trilogy
Marc Thompson does an excellent job reading and doing the voices (his Han Solo is spot on) and it has background sound fx and music to set the atmosphere. The story takes place ~5 years after Ep.6 ROTJ and is extremely well written.
