Used Book in Good Condition
Well so far the only book I know that tackles the administrations of the first five post-war presidents in a critical manner is Patricio Abinales and Donna Amoroso's State and Society in the Philippines. Other books that ostensibly discuss the terms of Roxas until Macapagal are either biographies or thinly-veiled propaganda.
I agree with Briones, though I would add that we also need to look at who does the writing of these textbooks. What's the point of calling for and/or enacting an order towards a fair and critical insight regarding previous administrations in history textbooks when you have the same people - Sonia Zaide in particular - writing them.
