I disagree. You need to relearn how you aim with a mouse. Get a larger mousepad (https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Mini-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B000UEZ37G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1467126573&sr=8- costs literally $7 and is great), set your sensitivity to something reasonable, and just fucking play. You will be forced to aim with your arm, not your wrist, and you will get better.

Are you actually looking for a new mousepad? As crazy as it sounds, I would strongly recommend this one. It's probably the best mouse pad I have ever used, and it's extremely simple (and cheap!). They have some really huge ones for people who game or just need to have a lot of space taken up by mousepad.

If it's not working out, sell/return/give away that one and buy a smaller one. Here's the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-QcK-Mini-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B000UEZ37G Cheap and small, so small that I can bring it to school with my laptop in fact. Doesn't light up tho, and it isn't Razer. Idk how much better yours is quality-wise, but it works for me.

Edit: Or buy one of those really big ones that goes under your keyboard as well.

I have this mouse pad which makes it harder to play lower than 900 DPI, 8 sensitivity. Is this too much to be serious about getting better?

The acceleration on the sensei can be completely disabled either with the software, or through the config system right on the device. I run that mouse every day for gaming and general computing and really enjoy it, but it's definitely more a "nerd's" mouse. The onboard CPU is more or less just for bragging rights; the mouse in configurable without software, but it's such a hassle that there's no real reason not to run SS's software if you're on Windows.

You may also dislike the shape of the Sensei. I find that the mouse works best with three fingers on top: point to left mb, middle on middle mb, and ring on right mb. If you aren't comfortable using a mouse like this, you'll probably hit the pinky buttons with your ring finger accidentally when using the Sensei.

It's a good mouse, but it's not for everybody. Think carefully about how you use your mouse and what you're really looking for in a pointing device.

Steelseries makes decent mousepads which are inexpensive in a range of sizes. I prefer the mini: http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Mini-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B000UEZ37G

QCK Mini

A perfect option for me. Didn't want one of those huge ass 2 feet wide ones...

Time to throw that one away.

I recommend steel series mouse mat.
