When we brought our LO home from the hospital she slept in this rock n play. It was the only thing she would get a good nights sleep it. It is slightly inclined, which helped with her reflux and it also vibrates and rocks itself. The only downside was that we had to wean her from it. We did so at around 6 weeks. First we turned the vibrate off for a few nights. And then we turned the self rocking part off. And then we transitioned her into this pack n play. We never once used the attachments on the top. One of them is a newborn napper which baby should only sleep in during supervised naps (not overnight or while you are also sleeping) because it is not a hard surface. The other thing is a changing table. We set the bed part up to the raised setting and she is still sleeping in that at 11 weeks. We plan on using this until she can sit up/is more mobile. Once that happens we will either put the bed down to the lower setting or move her to her own room (whichever I am more comfortable with). They recommend that baby sleeps in the same room as you for 6 months. For naps, she still either sleeps on me or in her swing. I know a lot of people who's babies will only sleep in their swings even at night. Just don't go into it with any expectations because you have to follow baby's lead. You will do whatever you need to in order to get the most sleep. I would also HIGHLY recommend to get some swaddle sacks/pods. We use these ones and they have been a life saver. They help baby stay asleep by restricting their startle reflex. They also help them to stay more cozy and feel like they are being snuggled. Downside is you might have to wean from those also once baby is able to roll over in them (probably around 3-6months old). My LO is again 11 weeks, and she still sleeps swaddled, but I always leave her right arm out because she freaks out if she can't grab her ear while she is sleeping lol.

I hope this helped in any way! Please let me know if you have any other questions and good luck!
