Reddit reviews Supernatural: Fresh Meat

I know there is a lot of free fanfic online but it seems like most of it is the slash stuff. Have you tried any of the published books? Some of them aren't bad and are like reading an individual episode (kind of like the Doctor Who books). I've enjoyed most of the ones I've read just as fillers between seasons.
