No, don't buy this one! For $55 grab yourself the Syma X5C. My roommates and I have bought a bunch of helicopters and quadcopters, Syma's are always reliable and priced great.
The X5C has a camera, 6-axis gyroscope, cool remote and can automatically perform flips and barrel rolls using the shoulder button. The battery only lasts ~8 minutes with the camera or ~11 minutes without, but you can buy a pack of four extra batteries for $27.
Just be warned - don't fly it too high when you're blackout drunk. My roommates and I bought two of these at the same time. One was lost into either a dense forest or a lake within a week of being delivered. Still not sure where it went, these things can go hundreds of feet in the air/away from you.

Thanks for the guide, looking to buy my first quad soon. Between the Hubsan X4 HD and this, what would you recommend?

You should check out the Syma X5C. I just got mine for about 55 off amazon. It's amazingly fun. If you do pick it up, I highly suggest this set of extra batteries and 4 port charger. You will not regret having extra batteries ready when you're having so much fun flying.
Edit: You'll get about ~10 minutes of fly time per battery.
I bought this one: http://www.amazon.com/Syma-X5C-Channel-2-4GHz-Explorers/dp/B00KI03U8Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1426527831&sr=1-1&keywords=X5C
and it was the new version was well.
The one I took that video with is only $59, and I got $20 worth of extra batteries. It comes with the camera, really fun quad to learn on.
The one I'm building now will probably run me about $400 for the quad, $200 for cheap FPV gear, and $200 for the GoPro. So much more expensive, but much more powerful. I haven't flown FPV yet, but I'm looking forward to flying like a bird :)
This is close to what I started with and is probably your best bet for something in that price range. The best way to learn is to just play around with it. They're pretty easy to fly.
I'm 29 and I bought a similar toy with some gift cards and cash from this year. I feel like a manchild when I get this thing in the air.
Cheaper on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Syma-Channel-2-4GHz-Explorers-Copter/dp/B00KI03U8Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415645715&sr=8-1&keywords=syma+x5c
What drone are you using? I just ordered a cheapie 60 dollar one from amazon to play with. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KI03U8Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Hey, I'm looking for a good quad copter with a built in camera, suggestions would be great. I'm currently looking at the Syma X5C due to it's cost and HD camera. I have a 200$ budget but would prefer something Cheeper if possible.
