I got her this set.
We made strawberry cupcakes and lemon cupcakes.
We also made a strawberry swiss meringue buttercream and a lemon American buttercream, to compare taste and ability to hold up after piping!
The strawberry swiss won on piping, but we were split on which tasted better (strawberry, obvs).
It sounds like the icing might be too dry or too cold, is it always at room temp before you start?
You might also want to consider some Russian icing tips that produce a whole flower at once! :)
