This: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NWL33OO I didn't have a problem with it sticking to the edges.

I actually just ordered this one courtesy of another redditor on /r/Nexus 6 referring me and put it on today. Let me tell you, it's actually flawless if done right. The one thing that sucks about the Nexus 6 is that the protectors are slightly smaller than the whole screen cause of the curved edge, but it still covers more than enough. I'm satisfied!

Yes it would.

I have always liked this one from Yootech

I have this one, it fits just right and since it doesn't go all the way to the edge it fits with most cases on the phone as well.

here it's very good

Nexus 6 Screen Protector,Yootech Google Nexus 6 Tempered Glass Screen Protector,0.3mm 9H Hardness Featuring Anti-Scratch,Lifetime Warranty https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NWL33OO/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_qWoRwbX8FYJP0

Just got to be careful when you put it on so that you don't get it too close to the sides otherwise it won't fully stick. The sides of the phone's glass are curved, this causing the potential for this issue.

I have no problems with the proximity sensor with this one. YMMV

u/iHateMyUserName2 · 1 pointr/nexus6

That has to be annoying as hell, but you may be able to get around the issue by putting a glass screen protector on it. First that'll prevent any new scratches (obviously) and second reason is that the adhesive that is used usually fills in any scratches so that they aren't visible (but clearly doesn't fix them). I have a Yootech one and haven't had any issues whatsoever with it coming up or showing any bubbling of any kind.

Same issue here, albeit a different brand. I ordered a Yootech screen protector on Amazon that seems to stay clear of both the front facing camera and proximity sensor. Should arrive tomorrow afternoon; I will post an update here as soon as I install it.

EDIT:
Happy to confirm the YooTech Screen Protector I purchased on Amazon works flawlessly. Doesn't cover the proximity sensor at all and the screen behaves as it should during calls. The only con I can say about it is the screen protector seems to be the exact size of the screen width wise. Even with a steady hand, it took me 2 reapplications to get it just right. Patience and a clean dust/hair/lint free environment is key.

I bought this one and found it to contour perfectly to the screen. It was actually really interesting applying it to the screen because you can just watch the air bubbles get pushed out by the weight of the glass.

u/reddituser2006 · 1 pointr/nexus6

Screen Protector I bought. Seems to work well. The only pain with them is since the screen is slightly curved you have to put it on almost perfectly.
I have this case and it seems to have saved it from a few small falls, but I don't know that I would trust it at a construction site. I would look for something a little more heavy duty.

I got the Yootech and it has worked very well for me. I did have the problem with the screen blacking out on calls with my previous protector and have not had it once since using this one.

I've had it now 2 months without issue. I fudged and applied it ~1cm off center but there isn't any bubbles or peeling.

I recently tried this one from amazon. Very pleased. As stated it doesn't cover the entire screen to avoid lift.
