I got mine from here the bag zipper really sucks. I’ve been eating a teaspoon a day and it’s been nice. Can’t really compare it to anything else. Haven’t seen it at Whole Foods maybe I’m just looking in the wrong section

I just bought Terrasoul Superfoods Amla (Amalaki) Berry Powder on amazon. In the question section they say . . .

>Our Amla powder is imported from India and packaged in Fort Worth, TX. It is certified organic and tested for heavy metal contaminants, and is one of the highest quality available.

There might be a better source out there.

edit: I'm adding some other quotes found on their amazon page:

> Each lot is independently lab tested in the US for quality and purity

>. . . we test all of our Amla powder batches for heavy metal contamination, pesticide residues, molds and pathogens, and purity.

> . . . we test every lot we purchase with composite sampling for lead before we package the product.

I suppose that it's implied that because it's tested, it doesn't have a high amount of lead (but I didn't see them state that specifically).

Also, examine.com says . . . "Despite the fruits having no detectable fatty acids, the seeds possess an oil that is rich in linoleic acid (44.0%) and oleic acid (28.4%).[10]" The amazon listing states . . .

>It doesn't contain the seeds.
