My favourite bit of that was the example given of the yoga teacher forced to suspend her class, because it was 'appropriating indian tradition' or whatever. But yoga itself incorporates loads of techniques from Danish gymnastics, which were incorporated in the early 1900's, so the Indians 'appropriated' Danish culture so actually it's totally fine for westerners to reclaim yoga in the first place.
Anyway, this whole ludicrous viewpoint was nicely deflated by the Canadian philosopher Andrew Potter in his book on authenticity a few years ago. Unfortunately for him he probably published it a few years too early and missed the current zeitgeist, but it's worth a read if you want all the maddening interal contradictions pointing out.
