I think the target audience of the emasculation of Asian men in western media, such as Hollywood, is white women. There were many Chinese men and Irish women relations during the end of 19th century in Cali and NY, so the west started using the media as a tool to discourage AMWF relationships. It's all boil down to racism and "taking our women" mentality.
