No, you shouldn't assume meaning based on your religious beliefs. Do you have some example where God is said to "come on the clouds of heaven?" This would strengthen your argument.

The reason I gave you a dismissive answer is because you asked for sources on something which is widely known by anyone interested in this stuff. Its like asking for a source that there was redaction in the NT.
