I say get this one if you haven't read Labyrinth of Evil (sets up Revenge of the Sith) and Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader (set right after RotS).
The Bane trilogy is excellent.
If you get Dark Lord, make sure you get Labyrinth of Evil and the Revenge of the Sith Novelization. They tie in with Dark Lord and the trio is phenomenal together. And trust me, the RoTS novelization is light years ahead of the movie. I posted the prologue
