Buy a dehydrator. With a bit of trial and error experiments you can get some ridiculously good trail meals for so cheap. Check out this website and this book. I can't say enough about how easy it is to get some really tasty meals on the trail if you put in a bit of work at home before you go.
I do not. I use The Dehydrator Bible as the base for my recipes and sub ingredients to fit my own tastes. Feel free to ask if you have any specific questions, between that book and a lot of trial and error I've learned a good bit about the process.
Might also look at a non-camping specific cooking area; dehydration. Many of the books on the market include recipe sections. Ingredients can be sourced commercially or dried at home. Then you can rehydrate to a complete meal or rehydrate to ingredients to be further used in a cooking process.
