You forgot to download the automated interactive ebook with performance support. Here it is. WARNING: primer may cause revolution if handed to the marginalized or underrepresented.

Feel free to forgive her without needing to let her back into your life. From what you've said she never acknowledged your truth or that the guy actually hurt you, so maybe it's good that she's seeing hi again because it allows you to see clearly that she is not good for you. She has some damage of her own if she put up with his behavior and went back to him after he was sent to jail. So, you might be able to see your way to understanding that she needs help too, but still also see that you need emotional safety, which means not having her in your life.
It also sounds like you need a counselor or therapist to provide you with some support and positive feedback. Ideally, in person would be best- if you PM me your location I might be able to locate some resources for you, but there are also online support groups.
Also, I highly recommend this book.
