Why don't they call it the evolution fact? It's a flawed theory and Gravity itself is a theory that's why it's called so. There are still many mysterious surrounding Gravity.
This is what theory means:
A supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained.
aka "Darwin's theory of evolution"
