Notable STEAM deals:

I assume this is on PC? Do you use Steam? I honestly don't know where to get it any cheaper until a Steam sale comes along. The DLC for Dragonborn and Dawnguard are $20 each and Hearthfire is $5.

For that price you could just buy the Legendary Edition.

Cause without knowing exactly which quests and items she might have from the DLC I don't think you can safely load up a save in vanilla.

Sorry I can't be much more help, I know these were super cheap during the summer sales. I'd recommend (again, if you use it) going on Steam and putting them on your wishlist so you get a notice if they go on sale. You might also be able to find something like a reddit thread or site where people would sell these cheap and "gift" them to you on Steam.

Some Steam deals are available through Amazon, like

SKYRIM FOR $15

AND Bioshock Infinite for $6

AND Fallout 4 for $20

> GTA, Just Cause, Assassin's Creed

So.. open-world action games? Judging by the notebookcheck.com benchmarks, you should be able to run Batman: Arkham Asylum / Arkham City, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Dishonored 1, Fallout 3 / New Vegas, Just Cause 2, Red Faction: Guerilla, Risen 1, and TES: Skyrim (non-remastered edition) at 40+ FPS with decent graphics and resolution settings.

Edit: added Batman

No prob. Glad I could help. Just make sure that you read all the information for every mod you download, don't just click 'download' and think that's all you have to do. Many mods require you to either download other mods or edit .ini files or change other things to make them work properly. I had a lot of awesome people help me when I first started playing with mods when I started playing Skyrim. If you like Fallout 4 and haven't played Skyrim or any of the Elder Scrolls games, definitely check them out. I prefer Skyrim: Legendary Edition over the newer Skyrim: Special Edition because LE has way more mods. Also, if you've never played Fallout New Vegas, DEFINITELY get New Vegas Ultimate Edition. It's even better than Fallout 4.

As far as getting games for PC, they're way cheaper than consoles. Keep an eye on sites like Cheap Shark, Is There Any Deal, Humble Bundle, and GOG. Cheap Shark and Is There Any Deal both check a bunch of different game selling sites and compare prices so you can find the best price for the game at that time. If there's a specific game you want, you can set alerts so it will email you when the game goes on sale or when the price drops to whatever amount you have it set to. Remember that Steam has their huge sales every summer and winter, so every 6 months basically. If you want a game and it's expensive, just wait because you'll be able to find it on sale somewhere soon. You can also check out /r/GameDeals, /r/SteamDeals and /r/SteamGameSwap to find good deals on games or trade games. If you want to check out subs for PCs, you can check out /r/PCMasterRace and /r/PCGaming.

If you have any questions about your PC or gaming or anything, feel free to ask. I work as a tech and am a PC gamer so I'm always working on computers. I built my gaming PC a little over a year ago and love it.

As long as you have the game on steam the steam workshop will work. I don't trust any key selling sights because everything is about making money and i don't see how websites make any money reselling steam keys at the same or lower prices so there has to be some kind of scam going on. Here is the Legendary Edition on Amazon, im surprised it's $40 i guess demand has gone up because it's harder to get now. Or for $5 more you can get it from steam, Here is the hidden steam page. Not sure what these prices translate to for canada. Someone else will have to help you with key selling sites if this is too much.
