Really? I have to disagree, those were personal attacks. They were saying she was the wrong kind of wife. t's hard to find 25-40 year old sources equivalent to modern-day blogs like on your Michelle list. But if you listened to conservative radio, you heard nothing but the meanest of ad hominems against hillary.
Endless criticism of her hair, her clothes, her looks. Gennifer Flowers leading the tabloid march about her not being able to satisfy bill as a wife which is why he cheats. Calling her a lesbian, militant radical feminist. Hell, you can even buy a literal Hillary Clinton Nutcracker (this has been around since the 90s, along with a Bill Clinton Corkscrew). She's been accused of murder, that's how bad people disliked her. When she speculated about a 'vast right wing conspiracy' against her and her husband, it was not without warrant.
This is not meant to diminish the evil and ugly attacks that have been directed at michelle. I'm still only disputing the statement that michelle was the first first lady to endure such attacks. She was not.
