It comes full circle. I discovered Becker's Denial while reading a comment on reddit. His book is a little dated, with a heavy emphasis on psychoanalytic theory (not too popular now). I still think he has some valid ideas.
It's called The Human Predicament by David Benatar. He is a South African philosopher who previously wrote "Better Never to Have Been". He address topics such as pain and human suffering, philosophy of suicide, and anti-natalism.
It's honestly a very quick and to the point book. He writes in very clear and concise way to get his points across.
