From what I understand a hysterectomy is not recommended unless you also suffer from adenomyosis. I recommended joining Nancy's Nook on facebook. There's a lot of info there and recommendations for an endo specialist. It looks like hysterectomies are not a cure. I have a friend who works at the Mayo Clinic that uses acupuncture to help women with fertility issues.
