You don't need either the 4 door or the bathtub, but if I was going to pick one, I'd pick the 4 door car.

For an alternative to the bathtub, you're right, they have the little bathtubs, and they also have tummy tub baths that would fit in your sink or in your shower. Additionally, your toddler very well can take a shower. Obviously your toddler can't take a shower unsupervised, but your toddler can take a shower either with you, or with you helping them from the outside. Its actually SUPER convenient to just have your toddler shower with you.

One more tub alternative is to just get an inflatable tub and then install a removable shower head sprayer for your shower. You would put the hub on the floor of your shower, and then fill it up with the sprayer, and then use the sprayer to rinse your LO as well.

Hi and welcome! Dragon or Gryffin? . . . My favorite Amazon thing off the top of my head would be the tummy tub we got for our son because he was super colicky when he was first born and sometimes this is what kept us sane.

Have you tried a tummy tub? It means the baby is facing forwards, not backwards and is a bit less traumatic for them as they're not being lowered into water of indeterminate depth.

I'm now using a bath support in a regular bath tub and have found it's all about water temperature, I was absolutely terrified of boiling my baby so always had it too cold, I ended up being gifted a floating rubber ducky with thermometer it in and it's awesome, I was having the water way too cold.
