I'm guessing that you're joking and, for that, I applaud you. If not, here's a good book on millenarianism. It has some really interesting descriptions of widespread early/Middle Age Christian cults that believed the apocalypse had come.

A lot of social justice type courses today aren't really academic so I wouldn't put too much faith in them, they mostly revolve around arts and crafts projects, watching movies etc.
Some books to consider:
The Pursuit of the Millennium: Revolutionary Millenarians and Mystical Anarchists of the Middle Ages
The German Historicist Tradition
Main Currents of Marxism: The Founders - The Golden Age - The Breakdown
The Open Society and Its Enemies: Plato, Hegel, Marx
A World Lit Only by Fire wasn't too bad.
Edit: Some of the reviews on Amazon are pretty damning, to the point that they make me regret that I read the book. This book looks better based on the reviews.
